
Sci-fi Prop - Incubator
Done with 3DS Max and Quixel Mixer
A Sci-fi prop modelled in 3ds Max, rendered with Arnold setting and textured with Quixel. I decided to make an incubator which can grow exotic and seemingly dangerous plants. Rendering lights with Arnold in 3ds Max was an interesting process, although the textures imported from Quixel were tough to render out similarly to the preview in Quixel itself.

Sci-fi themed environment
Done with Autodesk Maya & Mudbox
For this project, the aim was to create a low poly 3d sci-fi environment using Autodesk Maya and Mudbox. This was to be done first by modelling in high polygons in Maya, and then transferred into low polygons by baking them. This way, the details could still be shown on the low poly structures. Textures were to be made in Mudbox and exported as normal maps back into Maya.
