Idle Lawyer Game

Purpose

This was a design test done for a game company. The requirements were as such:

  • Use three to six smartphone screen aspect ratio frames to do an In-Game Visual Mock-up of the Core Gameplay Loop on how an Idle Lawyer Game will be like, focusing on player’s first impression.

  • Screens should look like a mobile game

  • No written explanation, mock-up should explain itself

Mock ups

The characters and UI in the mock-ups were all drawn by me, except for the office background. (edited to suit art direction)

I chose a cartoony art style with a complementary colour scheme to give the game a bubbly pop-up vibe, which can capture the players' interest.

This will ideally be complemented with bouncy effects on the UI/UX design for the ideal user experience.
